If I ever have a hit, this won't be it. It's not a bad song, it's just an impossible task to write a song based on Romans 2:1-16 and Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 that tugs at the heart's strings. But I had committed to composing a song each week for a sermon series on Romans, and this is what came out.

When all is said and done
Our whole work under the sun is to
Verse 1
Fear God and keep His commandments
To flee from evil and to love what's right

Let us live humbly in Your sight

In hearing only there is no reward

Help us to make Your law our life O Lord
Verse 2
Jesus You know every secret
And every action of our hidden hearts
